Papers, 1900-1975, 1914-1967.

The collection consists mainly of published and unpublished addresses and essays on the philosophy of music education, composed by Gehrkens between 1914 and 1967. There are no monographs or manuscript drafts in these papers, but a complete set of Gehrkens' publications is available in the Special Collections Department of Oberlin College Library. Also in this collection is a small amount of miscellaneous correspondence, biographical material, and thirteen photographs.
